Our 4th Annual 5k and Community Day! Originally, it was named after the late Jack Tapy, but at the request of the family we have changed the name to The Eaton Extravaganza!

IT WAS A HUGE SUCCESS THIS YEAR!!! We had 100 people participate in the 5k, vendors, tortilla water challenge, pies to the face, bounce houses, food, rummage sale, face painting, and more! It was an amazing weekend! We are so thankful to our list of sponsors (click their link and check them out!):

Part of the Extravaganza includes the Jim Schwarzkopf 5k. Jim is a lifelong teacher and principal in the area, including here in Eaton when it was a High school and K-8 elementary! He also has a passion for running, having run every single road in Blackford, Delaware, and Wells County; ran every state capital in the country; ran across the campus of every several Big 10 schools; and even carried the Olympic torch in 2016 through Wells County!

The 5k will follow a route here in Eaton, Indiana! It is open to runners, walkers, or "woggers" (something between running and walking) for people of all ages. There is also a block walk for those want to join in the fun but not the entire race. The entire event is free!

Check out our Facebook Event Page to keep up to date on all the happenings this year!

If you would like to look at our routes, please check out the 5k route or the block walk route
