Roger
Lead Pastor
Roger has been serving as Lead Pastor since May 2017. He received his M.Div. at Asbury Theological Seminary is ordained and credentialed through the Church of God (Anderson). He brings a passion for discipleship, spiritual formation, and helping people to see how God is moving in our lives. He is being trained as a Spiritual Director through Denver Seminary, serves as a chaplain to our local fire department, is a SYMBIS pre-marital counselor, and is a licensed foster parent. When not in church, he loves watching The Office with his wife, Star Wars with his three boys, or following the Chicago Bulls. He spends a lot of time outdoors hunting, hiking, biking, writing, or photography.
Melody
Worship Leader
Melody has been leading worship since February of 2023. She brings a calming and gentle presence to our worship team and services. She readily reminds us that our worship services are not performances on stage with idle spectators, but are led by co-worshippers as we all worship God together. When she's not leading worship, she spends her free time with her husband and their two dogs. She loves animals and puzzles! She has lived most of her life in the area, originally from Gas City.
